ECHO REPORTER The cross country team has started their new season with many new members under the coaching of Ms. Christine Doleman, high school English teacher; Ms. Sarah Barlett, elementary PHE teacher; and Ms. Alice Hootsman, high school study hall teacher. After a long summer break, the runners are training hard to get back in shape to set their personal bests of the season. Their season started on September 10, when the team traveled to SAS Pudong to compete in their first meet. Even though the players were not familiar with the new course, a majority of the players shaved seconds—and even minutes—off their most recent time trial. |
