The baseball season is now underway.
The varsity baseball team played a game on September 8 against Rainbow, a local club team, that resulted in a 20-1 loss. The varsity baseball team had its first major game against SAS Pudong cancelled on September 7 because of bad weather.

The baseball season is now underway.
The varsity baseball team played a game on September 8 against Rainbow, a local club team, that resulted in a 20-1 loss. The varsity baseball team had its first major game against SAS Pudong cancelled on September 7 because of bad weather.
On September 1, the Puxi Eagles varsity and junior varsity baseball teams were mixed into three teams to engage in scrimmages. The scrimmages provided JV players an opportunity to learn from the more experienced and skilled players from varsity. On September 14, the baseball team played SAS Pudong. The results of this game will be in the next issue. The baseball team is hoping to continue with victories at the Hong Kong International School in their China Cup tournament, held later this week, September 21 to 23. China Cup and September 14 results will be in the next issue. Senior Brady Kielgas, catcher and team captain, feels that “it’s definitely a re-building year after losing a lot of seniors, but I feel we still will be a competitive team.” |
