Mr. Dachpian feels confident that seniors Connor Tree and Benjamin Schneller, junior Jonathan Hanitio, and sophomore Huntington Wu will do well for the team as they have good knowledge of the game. Hanitio is said by the coach to be “already a great leader for the team” even though just a junior.
They are always fighting “a constant battle,” commented Mr. Dachpian, as too many of the freshman and sophomore students believe they are not ready or strong enough to play tackle rugby, but when they join rugby in later years it is already time for them to leave for college.
